We spent the day today at the pool with my friend Lisa. The kids all had a blast. Jayden took to it like a fish. Terrell never got out unless he had to go to the bathroom or eat. It was so much fun. We just lazed around and hung out, just what I needed.

Let me tell you about my night. I get home and as I am getting out of the car a cop is walking up to my door. I was on the phone with my sister so I hang up and get out. He asks if this is my house I say yes and we go in. At this point I am pretty sure I know why he is hear because you can hear Jayden screaming bloody murder. You see it is summer and the windows in his room were open, Tony put him in his bed asleep. Now normal he will sleep until midnight or later before waking but for some reason he woke up last night early. Tony had take an ambien, forgotten to turn on the baby monitor and had the AC on in our room. He did not hear the baby. I had to prove to the police man that I did not leave my kids home alone while I was at work. I had to actually show him Tony in bed and then wake him up. At first I was not upset because I figure the neighbor was just worried but the more I think about it the more upset I get. He could not have been crying for all that long becase Tony texted me last night at 9:30pm that he was going to bed. This all went down about 11:15. For the love of god does this person not know that kids cry? I hope she doesn't think he is never going to cry or scream again because he is the spawn and screaming is his favorite thing to do.

Tiring day

Yesterday I took the boys to the pool at my job. It is a sweet little side benefit that we can us it whenever we want. I just wish it was an indoor pool. Anyway I picked up T's best friend and brought him with us. We got to the pool around 10:30 am and left at 4:30, yes one full day of swimming. Jayden slept most of the day but T and his BFF had the best time. They swam and jumped and screamed. It was little boy heaven. After all the fun at the pool the best friend still had to play T ball. I left Terrell at the field to watch the game, I came home and showered. I was not going to go back but something told me to head back over. I get there and my kid is helping out the team! He was so excited to play on the team with his best buddy. He was exhausted last night and actually put himself to bed well before his bed time.

On a side note tomorrow I start back at 40 hours a week, aren't I lucky they are giving me all 5 days in a row? Yeah nice way to welcome back the full time working mom. Thanks Karen!

Mommy Brain?

Well it seems like I missed my appointment for blood work at the clinic this morning. They actually called this afternoon to ask me to come in tomorrow. Think it is my subconscious making me forget? I am going in the morning to get poked by the vampires again.

In other happenings we went to the pool at my work today and had a blast. Terrell is turning into quite the little swimmer. Even with repeated sunscreen applications I still have a bit of skin that is burnt. Not all over but in a few spots. We are going back to swim again tomorrow. Guess I need to apply more sunscreen.
