Tiring day

Yesterday I took the boys to the pool at my job. It is a sweet little side benefit that we can us it whenever we want. I just wish it was an indoor pool. Anyway I picked up T's best friend and brought him with us. We got to the pool around 10:30 am and left at 4:30, yes one full day of swimming. Jayden slept most of the day but T and his BFF had the best time. They swam and jumped and screamed. It was little boy heaven. After all the fun at the pool the best friend still had to play T ball. I left Terrell at the field to watch the game, I came home and showered. I was not going to go back but something told me to head back over. I get there and my kid is helping out the team! He was so excited to play on the team with his best buddy. He was exhausted last night and actually put himself to bed well before his bed time.

On a side note tomorrow I start back at 40 hours a week, aren't I lucky they are giving me all 5 days in a row? Yeah nice way to welcome back the full time working mom. Thanks Karen!

1st checkup

Jayden went to the doctor today for his first check up. He is now 7 pounds 15 ounces. So he is back to his birth weight and then some. Doctor said he is looking great. He also had his first big outing today to the park across the street. We stayed for about and 1½ hours and all he did was sleep in my evenflo carrier thing. Talked to the doctor about switching him from the soy formula they put him on in the hospital. They said he was really spitting and thought he might have a milk allergy. My doctor thinks they might have jumped the gun so we are going to try regular formula again and see if he does ok on it. Tony is really against the soy if he does not need it. I also went to the doctor today to check my blood pressure again. Of course at the doctors office my BP was fine. He did say it could be that the medicine he put me on is working already. Whatever it is I am glad because I was tired of feeling like crap. Nothing else doing around here really, Tony goes back to work on Monday and I can't lie I am going to miss him. Damn that sounds so strange usually I can't wait to get rid of him.

If you have a second can you go over and say congratulations to Jen on the birth of her second child please.

Aquarium

Yesterday I took Terrell to the New England aquarium for the day. We had a blast, I think his very favorite part was the tidal pool area for kids. He was so excited that he got to hold a starfish and a hermit crab. He liked that area so much we went back twice. He also got a big kick out of the giant ocean tank and seeing all the sharks and such. The aquarium has a web cam in the GOT that you can check out. It was a pretty special day for us and I had as much fun as he did. After the aquarium we took the train back to the car and went and had lunch together. Terrell kept saying that I was the greatest mommy in the world, of course you know that will change as soon as I say no to something.

I do think I may have overdone it a bit yesterday though, I have had another instance of bright red blood and am on self imposed bed rest for the day. It seems my body does not like it when I walk alot.

By the way please go over and say a huge congrats to my buddy Sarah on the birth of her daughter Piper.

Were having a baby!

Ok I am not having a baby but my good friend Melissa is, she is at the hospital as I type. I have her 4 year old son over for the day playing with T. This makes us all happy, T has someone to play with, Isaiah has someone to play with and I get to have 2 kids for a while! She is having a girl and I am so excited for her, she already has 2 boys so this is something new and special. Today is her due date and since it is her 3rd child they decided to induce her. We have the same OB/GYN and he is awesome so I know today should be as easy as labor can be. Melissa I am sending you quick and easy labor vibes!
