1st post of the new year
and guess what? We have all been sick, sicker than sick. We all had strep throat and really bad colds. I still managed to work NYE and NYD but I did not feel good doing it. We all got on medicine and are starting to feel better but we are still not 100%. I forgot how much it sucks being sick and still needing to take care of kids. With all of us sick we took turns. Everyone got a chance wallow in there own sickness and I will admit it I did not take a shower for 3 days. We all smell much better now too. Off to work again today, we are hoping to be 100% by the weekend.

Yep, it sucks to be the mom and be sick and take care of sick kids at the same time.

Hi Valerie, I found your blog somehow, not sure anyway I am a 42 y/o Mom of a 4 year old girl. Being an older Mom has it's challenges! I just wanted to leave you a comment! I live in SC (born in PA) but LOVE the Boston area although it's been many years since i've visited.

Ugh, I hate being sick and taking care of the kids too. and then James will act like he's dying and can't even help. Hope yall feel better.
