I am in awe over what this country will be doing at Noon tomorrow. I never thought I would see this day in my lifetime. My son is so proud and walks around saying we have a black president Momma. Yes son we do, isn't life good? I am sure I will shed some tears just as I did today taking time to reflect on all Dr. King fought so hard for.

it might be the hormones in part, but i cried all through the inauguration coverage. esp every time they showed sasha's and malia's shining faces, so full of hope and pride. little sasha in her pink coat...

I made my little girl sit down with me and watch his swearing in.. she's little but I hope somehow she will remember such a joyuous day!
