2 Weeks
Yup that's right in 2 weeks we will be home owners. I still can't believe it really. It seems like a distant goal not one that is happening so soon. I am taking the day of closing off and as soon as T gets out of school I told him we will go over to our new house and run around in it. I told my husband that when we close I think that is the moment I will really feel like a grown up. Wow 2 kids and 10 years of marriage but this is the big one. We have settled on June 6th to move. So tell me what did you do first in your new house?

The first one I laid around all the rooms trying to imagine how I would fill all the space. This one I turned on the fire place and marveled at how cool it was to have fire instantly.
I am about to buy a new house also, can't wait! Our closing date is June 30th but I "think" it will be sooner. Best of luck to you!!!!
since i work from home, we had to wait from closing until we had internet, phones, etc before we moved. one night when the phone guy was coming early the next morning we took over an air mattress and spent the night in our new empty house. it was fun but made a lot more sense back when there were no kids to worry about!

2 weeks! Wow, how cool is that! I think the first thing we did in our home was eat pizza in the living room watching our t.v.
