Vacation!!!!

Well you are reading this and we are on our way to California to spend 8 wonderful days with my inlaws. I am looking forward to sleeping and bathing without a little person attached to me at all times. While I am away I am totally stealing an idea from Nancy I am going to be asking questions each day for you to answer. I will try to get online now and then to read your answers but I will not be posting as the inlaws have dial up. God help me! No real internet access for 9 days, what will I do?

OK here is your first question. What is your favorite all time cartoon and why?

I have a few...I LOVE Tom and Jerry. It is just messed up. Damn cat always trying to kill the mouse but it is cartoon gold.

When I was a kid I loved Thundercats. I wanted to me Cheetara so bad. I used to go to bed at night and dream about it. I was also a huge fan of Heathcliff and the Alley cats.

I HATED Flintstones and Scooby Doo. I still do.

Hope you are having a good vacation!

All time favorite cartoon would be Bugs Bunny and all those wonderful WB cartoons from the 40s - 50s. It was one of the first DVDs I got--I had to show my son "kill da Wabbit!"

Its a wonderful time for animation--more modern ones I like
are Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad.

I hope that you are having a nice vacation!

Favorite cartoon...hmmm...I'm thinking the Flintstones. Or maybe the Simpsons. No particular reason. Just liked them, I guess.

Yay! It's a great way to keep your blog from going on vacation while you are away. And think of all the comments you'll have when you get back!!!!!

Ren & Stimpy. Because they fucking rule.

In middle school I had a fascination with Jem and the Holograms. But now I'd have to say the Simpsons. It's a such a great metaphor for the absurdities of American life.
