Terrell has been extra extra sweet today. Not sure what he is up to but he keeps coming over and kissing my tummy. He has been giving lots of hugs today too. He just told me I am a sweet little mommy. Yup he is up to something.
What a sweet boy. I do know that boys do what they see and hear their father doing. My husband is good to me, but he doesn't tell me I'm pretty or anything just out of the blue. But 2 of the little boys the exact same age as my boys that go to the daycare hear their father telling their mother that she is pretty, or has pretty hair, etc alot (so says the mom). Anyway, those boys tell me I'm pretty when they see me and they will tell my boys "your mommy is pretty". They tell other mothers that as well as other teachers and kids. Their mother swears that it is all because their father talks to her like that. And, I think it matters way more than anyone realizes.
Very cute! I noticed a few weeks ago Michael was getting a little clingy. He's almost 9, so he's kinda out of calling me "mommy" or hugging me for no reason. But lately, he is more apt to come over and snuggle and hug me. I think he kinda knows his days of being the "only" one are numbered. (Or, maybe he is up to something...)
