He is with Her??

Often when I am out with Tony I get the look. It is a look I believe only people in a mixed race relationship get, Tony does not notice it a lot but I do. It’s what the hell is he doing with her look. The why is that white girl stealing our men look. The oh no there is a black man in the store look. Now don’t get me wrong Tony notices it too just not from a white woman’s place. I see it when we go places that are more black or Spanish, visiting his family in Florida. I am the only white person in the whole area, I try not to let it bother me but it hurts when I get the look. I am sure white people give Tony the look too; he has had people in our local grocery store grab there purses a little tighter when he is around. It just really bothers me that some people have a problem with my Husband and I being together. I hope and pray as Terrell grows up things like this get less and less frequent, I want him to live in a world where people don’t judge him based on color or who he chooses to love. I hope what I am saying comes across the right way; this is just the way I feel and see things. I am not trying to upset anyone at all.
