Tantrums

Oh Joy! My son is laying on the floor just screaming away. What did I do to be forced to listen to this symphony you ask? Well I got him dressed and won't let him have his binky. As far as he is concerned I am a horrible mother. He can't understand how he ended up with me. Now from my point of view we only get binkies at nap and bedtime. He knows this and goes with the flow for the most part. I think part of his problem today is the fact that Daddy has been gone since Thursday. Dad is in Florida enjoying friends and late nights. He even gets to sleep in and not be awoken at 4am by cries. Hell he gets to have a moment alone if he wants. I on the other hand am a 24 hour Mommy this weekend. I never thought I would say this but I can't wait for Tony to get home. Monday at noon seems so far away. He is going straight on parenting duty. Mommy needs a break!
