But then, I passed the longer test. My doc told me to do nothing different in my diet until we knew for sure.

I hope things work out fine for you.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14553683323923026597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8645313.post-79260018873406702422008-02-21T21:31:00.000-05:002008-02-21T21:31:00.000-05:00My nutritionist put me on a diet that was a modifi...My nutritionist put me on a diet that was a modified Gest. Diabetic one. Mainly, spread the carbs out throughout the day; 30 carbs at breakfast (sample 3/4 cup of Special K; 1/2 cup milk; 1/2 blueberries (on top or whatever) or 1/2 banana); 15 carbs as a mid-morning snack (Sample fruit or light cottage cheese or 1 tbs. of peanut butter on toast or fruit); 45 carbs at lunch (a Smart ones low carb entree or 2 slices of whole grain bread with turkey; lettuce tomato, cheese); 15 carbs for mid afternoon snack (cereal bars, carrot sticks, etc); 45 carbs for dinner (chicken/lean meat/pork;1 potato or 2/3 cup of rice; cooked veggies).

Essentially stave of cravings with good carbs and/or proteins (a sandwich, with lettuce and tomato)

Eat plenty of veggies and proteins. I've been doing a LOT of carrot sticks and grapes (until I am really kinda sick of 'em)

I hope that helps.

Good luck on Wednesday!!Delennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12567889031642608101noreply@blogger.com
